Kunming Wujiaba International Airport is located a short distance from the city centre. Passengers seeking ground transfers to hotels in the city may be able to take advantage of hotel shuttle services.

Alternatives to hotel shuttles are limited and passengers can choose between taxis or buses, the latter connecting the airport with the city's rail system, from where other destinations can be reached.

Buses

Several public bus services serve the airport, connecting it with the city and key destinations in between. The number 52 bus runs from the airport to Daguan Tower via the city's main train station, number 67 connects the airport with the north train station and the main train station, while number 78 runs to the north train station via the municipal government building.

Hotel Shuttles

When you book your hotel, you should enquire with them, or alternatively check with your travel agent, to establish whether or not they offer an airport collection service. Reputable hotels invariably offer these services free or included in the cost of your stay.

Taxi Cabs

Taxis are available from outside the Arrivals halls and run to downtown Kunming. Passengers are advised to check the meter is set before beginning their journey.
