Kunming Wujiaba International is a typically Chinese airport, providing facilities aimed largely at Chinese passengers. International passengers might not find the airport as well equipped as Shanghai International Airport, although they will find most essential amenities and services on hand.

A duty-free and a gift shop serve the airport selling gifts, newspapers and essential travel related goods.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants

Outlets available for food and beverages are predominantly Chinese and passengers will find very little in the way of Western food options.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities

The airport has ATMs that accept most international cards and while there are no dedicated bureaux de change counters, there is a Bank of China branch situated opposite the arrivals gate, which offers money exchange services as well as other financial services.

Business and Conference Facilities

There are no business or conference facilities available at Kunming Wujiaba International Airport. However, the Jiu Lu Da Airport Hotel is located within the airport grounds and offers the nearest business facilities.

Disabled Facilities

Standard disabled facilities are available at the airport and extra assistance is available from airlines on request. Disabled persons' facilities include ramps, adapted telephones and toilets and porter assistance on request.
